Ready, Set, Go! 7 Must-See Spots for Car, Truck & Vehicle Loving Kids

Even in our pedestrian city, kids love getting their hands on big chunky vehicles of all shapes and sizes. If your tot was hailing taxis before his second birthday, you may want to add these seven places to your to-do list. You’ll discover the city’s collection of fire trucks, submarines, helicopters, excavators and other mind-blowing vehicles.

Race To the Finish Line

Ready, set, go to Grand Prix NY. Escape the city traffic and let the kids blow off some steam as they put the peddle to the metal at this Westchester indoor go kart track. Let your little Evil Knievel burn rubber on the kid's track (they must be at least 48-inches tall and 8 years old to drive). While younger kids can get their need for speed riding with an adult in a twin seater kart. The fun doesn’t end at the finish line. Check out the bowling lanes, arcade, art studio, and Fuel Restaurant - all on site.

Insider’s Tip: The safety equipment is provided, just don't forget to bring closed-toe shoes. All driver’s under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or present a signed copy of their Parental Consent Form, as well as a photocopy of their parent’s/guardian’s driver's license.
