Hey Star Wars fans, you can now get your kiddo Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder. Okay, so you can’t get the real deal. But you can get a pint-sized version, made by Radio Flyer. If your little Luke or Leia absolutely won’t stop talking about Star Wars (and you’ve watched all the movies at least a zillion times), this might just be the gift to end all gifts. Seriously. Check out what you need to know about this ridiculously rad Landspeeder!
This is so, so much more than your good ol’ riding toy. Yes, of course, Radio Flyer is an iconic brand when it comes to riding toys. But this is not a little red pull and push wagon. Nope. This is a super-cool speeder that’s modeled after the X-34 crafts from Star Wars: A New Hope.
It has two seats for two child riders (ages 4 & up), and fits up to 130 combined pounds. Not only can your child ride in style, but the Landspeeder has a totally interactive dashboard that lights up and plays sounds from the sci-fi flick. Whoa!
Oh, and then there’s the fact that the speeder moves. It really moves! This riding toy actually has a driving speed that goes up to 5 mph. With an exterior finish that looks like it just flew off the film set, the speeder takes pretend play up a notch — umm, maybe that’s an understatement.
What do you think of the Landspeeder? Would you buy one for your child (it’s got a price tag of $499.99)? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
