Feeding tiny humans is no easy task! Between finding a nutritious recipe (that actually sounds appetizing), chopping ingredients into bite-size pieces and the actual cooking, most families’ meal times are far from enjoyable. Nurture Life is a meal delivery service that promises convenient, nutritious meals for kids—starting at 10 months and going all the way up to teens! Three of our editors gave these ready-to-eat meals a try:

I love that their packaging is made from recycled materials and how it kept all the neatly packed meals inside super cold. The way that the 10-24 month meals are packaged is brilliant. They take up little space in my fridge, and the small container is perfect to pop in my bag for an on-the-go meal for my 19-month-old Ever.
My son Watson is almost five, and couldn’t wait to dig into his very own perfect meal. The Nurture Life meals are lightning-speed fast to heat up (under 2 minutes!). Similar meals take 5-6 minutes to cook, which is an eternity for hungry kids. So again, so easy for me, and way less whining on his end! He loved the cheeseburger mac, and my daughter kept trying to sneak some bites. I was worried because he’s not into veggies (ugh) but since they were stealthily hidden he didn't even notice—mealtime has been conquered!

I have two boys: Cody is almost three years old and Parker is just shy of a year. Unfortunately, they both inherited my hangry gene, which basically means that if I don't get dinner in them by 5 p.m. they turn into hangry monsters (I fully laugh at my pre-kid self who never understood why parents fed their kids so early.). So even though I actually love cooking—with my husband and I both working full-time—getting a legit dinner on the table that isn't string cheese and puffs by hangry o'clock isn't always feasible.
We tried Nurture Life to help make evenings easier. Ordering is simple—choose the meals you want and it's delivered to your doorstep. We're that weird family who doesn't own a microwave so heating the meals in the oven was a cinch (10 mins at 350). And the food itself: delicious and fresh, like it was cooked that morning. You know how you're usually stuck eating the grilled cheese crusts your kid won't or taking his leftover pasta? Well, these leftovers—if there are any—you'll eat happily. Cody adored the chicken parmesan with broccoli (he even downed the broccoli by the fistful) and bolognese with penne, while Parker's fave was the chicken, sweet potato and waffle.
I like that Nurture Life makes the meals fresh, flavorful and kid-friendly, all without dumbing it all down for kids (read: just butter pasta or everything smeared with sauce or cheese). Plus, Nurture Life helped alleviate the mental load of deciding what to cook for dinner and made our witching hour...dare I say, actually enjoyable.

I love the healthy but still kid-friendly options that Nurture Life offers. The meals look so appetizing and taste delicious. The choices include foods to expand their palates too! With Nurture Life, my daughter was willing to try foods, like edamame, she hasn't wanted to try before. The meals also have options to sneak in nutrients, with familiar dishes like mac and cheese with veggies.
It's so helpful to have these ready-to-go meals in the fridge, especially on busy days. They're created by registered dietitians and chefs, so I know my daughter is getting a balanced and tasty meal that can be served cold or heated up quickly in the oven or microwave. And I'm happy to nibble on her leftovers if she doesn't finish a meal!
