Where is “Fart Land?” Well, for right now it’s on the internet, where it’s, umm… making a major statement. No, “Fart Land” isn’t the brainchild of some millennial movie maker. More specifically, “Fart Land” is a short essay from comedian Patton Oswalt’s 8-year-old daughter. And it is amazing.

Oswalt tweeted out an excerpt of the story, commenting, “My daughter wrote this today.” Apparently, every single person likes “Fart Land.” Except for Mia. And no, we don’t know who Mia is and why she doesn’t like “Fart Land.” But Oswalt’s daughter Alice does also tells us, “You don’t need to worry about her.” So we’ll just assume that she’s all good with whatever happens to people who don’t enjoy Fart Land.

Oh, and if you’re wondering what this magical, mystical “Fart Land” place is, Oswalt’s daughter writes, “fart [sic] land is where people who fart a lot get sent to.” Yeah, that sounds about right.

Twitter kind of went crazy over this short story. With more than 22,000 likes and comments such as, “Genuinely better than most things I’ve read lately,” it’s clear that this little girl’s story is already a major hit.
