2018 is set to be the year of Pixar, from the long awaited return of The Incredibles to the new Pixar experiences coming to several of the theme parks across the world. Here’s the scoop on the new Pixar rides and attractions that will hit three Disney theme parks this year.

Walt Disney World (Orlando, Florida)

There is a plethora of Pixar fun coming to the Magic Kingdom this year. Toy Story Land will open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios over the summer with two new rides. 

Visitors exploring Tomorrowland will get a chance to meet up with the entire Incredible family, including Edna Mode for the first time. You can also catch a new show based on Pixar’s Up at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Disneyland (Anaheim, California)

Pixar Fest, a park-wide celebration at Disney’s California Adventure will debut April 13 ushering in several new Pixar-themed attractions and renovations. The Paint the Night Parade will return along with the Pixar Play Parade featuring favorite characters from several films.

A new night time show called Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular will premiere as part of the Pixar Fest as well. The newly reimagined Pixar Pier will reopen with themed Pixar neighborhoods from Inside Out, Toy Story and The Incredibles, which will also launch the new Incredicoaster.


Shanghai Disneyland (China)

Disney Pixar’s Toy Story Land will open April 26 with three new attractions. Guests can go for a whirl on the Slinky Dog Spin, race in a car controlled by Rex on Rex’s Racers, and do a little do-see-do with Bullseye at Woody’s Round Up. A new eating area dubbed Toy Box Cafe just opened last week.
