Your kids might be ready for a break from school but the idea of being at home for three weeks loses its magic after oh, about forty-eight hours. Lucky for us Portlanders, the city has no shortage of awesome winter camps for kids. Click through our slideshow to see a few of our all-time favorites. Just make sure to register early — You’re not the only parent out there who’ll be hearing “I’m bored!”

For kids on the move: The Children’s Gym

Your kids definitely won't complain of being bored at Children’s Gym’s Winter Sports Camps. From 9-3:30, they’ll hone their gymnastics skills on the center’s state of the art equipment, then squeeze in a little boulder climbing and (weather permitting) field games.

A huge perk: Sign up all week, or just for a few days.

Details: $60/1st day, $235/full week for member families, $70/1st day, $245/non-member families. Dec. 23, 26, and 27; January 2 and 3. (Ages 3 through 14.)
