Boke Bowl
When you’re looking for steamed buns, unique ramen and savory sui mai, Boke Bowl is your go-to place. What started as a Portland pop-up in 2010 has expanded to locations on the east and west sides, fulfilling ramen cravings everywhere. Adults can devour the slow smoked pulled pork dashi, miso mushroom steam buns or the green onion ginger rice. For your smaller ramen lovers, the Bambino bowl lets kids choose from pork, seafood miso or caramelized fennel dashi. Don’t forget to add one of Boke Bowl’s homemade Twinkies for a sweet treat.

For an extra something special, Boke Bowl’s Westside location now offers Dim Sum on Saturdays and Sundays from 11-3, and Mondays from 5 to close. On Thursday evenings from 5-9, the Eastside location offers Boke Bird, a Korean fried chicken (or tofu and eggplant for vegetarians), served family-style.
