Cody Goldberg

Cody Goldberg, Global Brand Management, Action Sports, Adidas and Executive Director, Harper's Playground

Cody exudes commitment. He has been smitten with his wife April since their first date fifteen years ago. He has worked his way up the ranks at Adidas, starting out in the mailroom. And when his older daughter Harper was born with a benign cyst in her throat and had to fight to survive in those early precious newborn hours, he knew he would do anything to help her have the most amazing life possible. Cody devoted his every-waking-moment-outside of work-time for three years to be the driving force behind the first inclusive playground in Portland; Harper’s Playground. Cody made it a part of every conversation he had, surrounded himself with the team he needed to get it done, raised the $1.2 million, managed the design, selected the contractors and ensured the success of the nothing-short-of-epic playground located in Arbor Lodge Park in North Portland (the Goldberg family’s ‘hood). If you and the kiddos haven’t been yet, go. Go now. And then raise a glass to Cody and commitment when you get home that night after an amazing afternoon of inspiring play. Salud!

To all the Top Pops and Rad Dads out there in Portland, we salute you as well! Let us know who else we should add to our list in the comment section below.
