Commonwealth Lake Park

A flat, paved trail, picnic benches and an array of birds welcome your family to this quiet and enjoyable park. Tucked away from traffic, you’ll find ducks, Great Blue Herons, Cedar Waxwings and Green Herons, as well as a playground for the little ones. Fishing is even allowed here, if your angling licenses are up-to-date. You’ll find the community out enjoying a peaceful time with their little bit of nature in the suburbs.

Know before you go: Yes, it’s a lot of fun to feed ducks, we know! But the Audubon Society asks you not to, please. Pass along the lesson to your kids, and pass on the loaf of bread.
