If gyros and tzatziki are part of your family’s food vocabulary, then you’ll love checking out some of Portland’s best Greek restaurants to enjoy with kids! These options offer a slice of Portland’s Greek dining scene with a range of different ways to get your Greek!
Foti’s Greek Deli
1740 East Burnside Street
You are sure to fall in love with this family-owned Greek dining spot – not only are they incredibly sweet and make your food in the blink of an eye, but the food is so tasty and authentic. If you are a fan of Greek food for the feta and garlic, this is the place for you. While you’re waiting for your order, browse the grocery section for some goodies to take home.
Between Southwest 10th Avenue and Southwest Alder Street in the blue and yellow food cart
This wouldn’t be a Portland food list without a food cart! Don’t miss this Greek food hot-spot, perfect for picking up Greek to-go on the way to a summer concert in the park or for a trip to the beach. The menu is huge for a food cart, but you’ll want to try the gyro.
1332 North Skidmore Street
Do mom and dad love Greek but the kids aren’t so sure? Overlook is the perfect solution – they offer a typical diner menu (which is very good!), as well as amazing Greek specialty dishes that are huge and delicious. Plus, Overlook is extremely family-friendly, making it a good choice for dining out with little ones. They also have Greek options on their breakfast menu!
2201 Lloyd Center at the Food Court of Lloyd Center
We realize that this is a food court restaurant, but trust us when we say that you won’t even notice that you’re dining in a mall when you’re eating from Medi Grill. We suggest ordering any of the chicken dishes, which are extremely delicious. And the best part about eating in a food court? The kids can be loud without getting stares from other diners and you can let them run off that pre-bedtime energy in the hallways of the mall before heading home!
