Cathie Ericson

"Our favorite thing to do in the fall is get pumpkins! Sure, we always make a trek to those crazy "carnival" pumpkin farms like Lee Farms in Tualatin with an awesome petting zoo; Flower Farmer in Canby, with a special BOO train and the best donuts; or Sauvie Island where they have an insane corn maze. But what we love to do is find a roadside patch out in West Linn or Wilsonville, where there is nothing but pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins! And if you're lucky, a cool wheelbarrow to haul them all in. Tate and Gus in this photo are my crazy pumpkin hunters."
