There’s a farm harvest night, a lantern walk along the waterfront, and a harvest fun day. If a little retail therapy is in order, hit the enormous Super Kids Resale in Gresham. If you’re looking for a family-friendly cultural fest with free admission, the Portland Polish Festival might be your scene. Finally, there’s a variety show, an organic baby and family fest, a visit from Elmo, and Sunday Parkways makes its way to Northwest Portland!


Firefly Community Lantern Walk
Join your community to commemorate the passing from summer to autumn. And what a beautiful and creative way to do so—bring a lantern or light to carry along the way! Lighted bikes are welcome too! The Portland Juggling & Vaudeville Extravaganza
Who doesn’t love a great variety show? This family-friendly event is back for its 18th year and will once again wow the audience with some of the world’s most thrilling acts. Green Sprouts Organic Baby & Family Fest
Learn and explore eco-friendly, community-involved, natural and healthy options for raising your family. Better yet, let your kids get in on the fun and education with activities like a teddy bear organic picnic, a family relaxation station, a diaper derby plus live music, sing alongs, arts and crafts, and ladybug walks!

Sunday Parkways
Time to head to the Westside for the last Sunday Parkways for the season! Enjoy the urban vibe of Northwest Portland streets sans cars. Activities, food and entertainment will be in Couch and Wallace Parks plus the Pearl District and Saturday Market. The 4.5-mile route will have two loops, connecting SW Stark Street, Old Town Chinatown, the Pearl and Northwest neighborhoods.

Howl at the Moon Harvest Night
Celebrate the just-full moon and experience the magic of Kruger’s Farm! Festivities include: live music, harvest bonfire, barn owl release, hay rides with Farmer Don, and trips through the corn maze. Proceeds benefit The Audubon Society of Portland.

Stock up on gently used fall and winter clothes for baby and kids. This is a HUGE sale and also includes toys, baby gear, books, movies, furniture, and maternity and nursing items. Harvest Fun Day

If you’re feeling competitive, maybe a pie-eating or corn-shucking contest is in order?
