Attend the Childroots Winter Faire
The Winter Faire is a magical treat. To greet winter, ChildRoots Center for Young Children’s Southeast center is transformed into a winter wonderland. A sleepy bear reads books in the forest room, the Winter Fairy charms children with her fairy dust kisses, and our Ice Queen occupies an icy cave where children hunt for her crystals. There is also a gnome home that children can visit and a wizard’s lair, complete with bubbling cauldron and magical spells. ChildRoots teachers also showcase their crafts and sell delicious foods. Join Kids Company Northwest for their annual holiday show. Now in its 20th season, Columbia Dance brings its most joyous holiday gift with its wonder-filled production of the “The Nutcracker.” A cast of over 100 local dancers present the magical story of Clara and her Nutcracker Prince as they battle the Mouse King and embark on a thrilling journey through the Land of Snow into the Kingdom of Sweets.
