Love is in the air this weekend for Valentine’s Day and there are plenty of love-centric activities for kids to do with or without their parents (date night, anyone?), like the Valentine’s Ball at Playdate PDX, Monster Jam at the Moda Center or WeVillage Parents’ Night Out. So grab those little ones and show them how much you love them by treating them to any of these fun activities happening this weekend.

Get Revved for Monster Jam
Kids love trucks – especially big trucks with fire shooting out of them. Watch the dirt fly as 10 monster trucks crush cars, perform stunts and race around obstacle courses for this “rock and roar” event. This year, don’t miss the Party in the Pits where, before the two afternoon shows, fans can get an up-close view of the trucks and meet the drivers of these massive machines. Sat., 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Sun. 2 p.m., $10-$45/person, All Ages. Event details.
