Sometimes an event is so magical that it’s worth keeping the kids up a bit later than usual. The Chinese New Year Lantern viewing at Lan Su is one of these events. If you into the whole looking skyward thing, head to the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum to see the Paper Airplane Guy. John has been making paper airplanes for 40 years and loves to share his passion with kids. Looking to keep cozy this weekend? Curl up with a bowl of chowder or tuck into a local venue to catch one of PDX’s outstanding musicians.
