Sculpt With David: Sweet Treats

Can a dessert tell a story? Rashawn Griffin’s la defense is a sculpture created out of French butter cookies that references Arche de la Défense, a commemorative public monument built outside Paris on the bicentenary of the French Revolution. With Griffin as our inspiration, sculpt clay cookies that evoke a special memory, such as a birthday, holiday, or other gathering. Story Time With Mr. Limata

Welcome to Story Time with Mr. Limata! Mr. Limata is a teacher who loves books, word games, and stories. He teaches 2nd grade at Emerson Elementary in Oakland Unified School District (California). By far, one of the most exciting times of his day in his class is story time. He enjoys sharing readings with the students, listening to their laughter, awe, and their many other emotions in-between and beyond.
