It’s the last weekend in July and the Portland Festivals are really revving up. If filling your end-of-the-week days with dancing, feasting, and getting crafty sounds like fun—grab your little revelers and get ready to go-go-go! We’ve rounded up a list of weekend events that will wear your dancing shoes and the kids out so that when Monday rolls around everyone’s ready to get back to the regular routine.

Rox in Sox Festival at King School Park
Get your groove on at this free festival of children’s music and reading. OzoKidz, the percussive, world-beat family band of Ozomatli, is headlining this year and you can expect performances by Aaron Nigel Smith and his 1 World Chorus, plus popular songsters Mo Phillips and Mr. Ben. Willamette River Festival at Cathedral Park
Spend a fun day on the waterfront at The Willamette River Festival. Relax with beautiful views of the river, St. Johns Bridge and Forest Park hills while enjoying live music, a beer garden, birds from Audubon, a live fish display, guided walks and tabling by a variety of environmental groups as well as opportunities to learn about the cleanup proposal. Damascus

A Day in Damascus at Damascus Centennial Park
Head on over to Damascus Centennial Park and join in on a long-standing community celebration focused on family fun, great entertainment and yummy food. Art in the Garden at Oregon Garden
Take your little Picasso to the Oregon Garden for a day of garden mosaic projects! By the end of they day, they’ll head home with a small sun catcher or a bird feeder. The sun catcher workshop is safe for all ages and features an abstract design created with tumbled glass pieces. The Great Oregon Steam Up! at Antique Powerland Museum
