This weekend brings several opportunities for families to celebrate our wonderfulcommunities. Sunday Parkways rolls into downtown/NW Portland. East Portland stages the biggest multicultural event in the city. Division/Clinton street residents are ready to party (and parade!) with pride for their neighborhood. Estacadans and Cannon Beachers welcome visitors to discover their cities through music and art. And Portland’s top chefs will be competing in what is sure to become a new tradition that kids will love: the Kenny & Zuke’s Pickle Throwdown!

Calling all pickle fans! Portland’s top restaurant’s will submit their finest pickles in this pickle party to raise money for Oregon Food Bank. Sat, Kenny & Zuke’s Sandwichworks, 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm. $5. All ages. Event details.
Sunday Parkways: NW/Downtown
A 6.4-mile route of city streets open to walk, bike, roll, run, jump, and skip – without having to watch out for cars! Activities, food, and entertainment will be in Shemanski Square, Wallace, Couch, and Waterfront Parks, plus along the route. Be sure to stop by Green Frog Toys at 10:30 am to meet alligators, lizards, and other critters. Sun, Downtown-Old Town Chinatown-Pearl District, 11:00 am- 4:00 pm. Free. All ages. Event details.
Division-Clinton Street Fair and Parade (pictured)
Celebrate Division-Clinton’s 25th birthday and enjoy the 19th annual street fair. Highlights include kid-friendly contests, crafts, face painting, dancing, music, people watching, shopping and eating. Mayor Adams and entertainer Storm Large will share Grand Marshal duties by leading the parade. Sat, free, all ages. Event details.

Estacada Summer Celebration
The party kicks off Friday night with live music on the big city stage. Saturday morning brings fun activities for children with giant puppets, lots of live music, free hands-on art activities for children and adults, a silent art auction, lots of food vendors and the beautiful Broadway Street Art Fair. Cannon Beach Plein Air
More than two dozen artists will be creating works of art on location throughout the town and on the beach.
