Hundreds of Portlanders will take to the rivers this weekend. Two big water-logged (and family-friendly) celebrations highlight the recreation that our rivers offer and engage people to create lasting, meaningful change to the river. Flicks on the Bricks opens their alfresco movie season with a family favorite. And you can check out a new berry-filled blues music festival. All aboard the cow train!

Floaters will cross the river in groups of 50. And floaters and non-floaters alike will join together afterward at a post-float party, complete with food carts, live music, beer garden, educational exhibits, and fun activities for kids. Division-Clinton Street Fair and Parade

Columbia Slough Regatta
Join the largest one-day paddle in Oregon as hundreds people will launch into the safe slack water of the Slough for a leisurely paddle. Individuals and families are welcome to bring their own boat, or to reserve a complimentary 45-minute rental. Sun 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. $7. Young boaters. Event details.
Flicks on the Bricks: The Karate Kid

Bella Blueberry Blues Festival
This inaugural music festival showcases of everything local and organically Oregon. Kids will enjoy the face painting, cow train, hay rides, barnyard animals, pony rides, bounce castle, live bands, and, of course, blueberries. Estacada Summer Celebration
This annual celebration party kicks off Friday night with live music on the big city stage.
