Father’s Day Weekend at the Craft Factory
Craft a surprise for dad in honor of Father’s day, or even grab dad and bring him along to make a project together! Pig Out Community BBQ
Join the Polaris board, staff and dancers for a day of food, fun, community, and dancing. Catered by The People’s Pig, this event will offer live music, performances, and over $700 in raffle prizes for the whole family, while raising funds for Polaris programming! The Grateful Dad Run
The Grateful Dad is a half marathon, 10k and 5k for the entire family that runs along the beautiful Columbia River with sweet views of the cascade range. There’s even a kid’s fun run. Stick around after for a grateful family breakfast, a groovy beer garden and some sweet tunes to fill the air!Sat., 7 a.m. NE. Cost varies by race. All ages. Event details.

Free Summer Skate Day
Push yourself, make new friends, & get hyped! Skate contests from 10 a.m.-noon include Ollie Challenge, Longest Wheelie, Best Flatground Trick, Skate Limbo & more. Staff will be on hand for board maintenance checks, a sticker station and a raffle with prizes. Sat., 10 a.m.-4 p.m. SE. Free. 5-18. Event details.

Father’s Day Celebration at Seahorse PDX
Celebrate dad with a full day of activities perfect for daddy and the kiddos. Music with Micah & Me, an author reading of Monster ABC,free BBQ (veggie options available) plus face painting, balloon twisting and amazing prizes throughout the day. Cheer on contenders at the Dadiator Games and basically rock Father’s Day. First 50 families will receive a goodie bag full of awesome gifts. Sat., 11 a.m.-5 p.m. SE/Hawthorne. Free. All ages. Worth the Drive

12th Annual Oregon Garden Brewfest
This 3-day Brewfest held over Father’s Day weekend features 120 handcrafted beers, ciders and mead from 60 different breweries from across the nation along with live music and a beautiful setting: an 80-acre botanical garden. New this year, the Oregon Garden Brewfest will take place in the forest, with booths dotted throughout the woods. Please note that Friday, June 17 is 21+ only; Sat. minors are welcome until 5 p.m. and Sunday is family day and will include kid’s activities.Sat., noon-5 p.m. (21 and up after 5)  & Sun., noon-6 p.m. Silverton. $15-$55.
