Organized annually by the All-Ireland Cultural Society of Oregon, this festival specializes in showcasing talented local Irish, Scottish, and Highlands dancers along with Irish and Scottish- folk musicians. Join the Town Challenge at Mt. Hood Meadows
The Town Challenge Series is a recreational race series designed for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. The goal of the series is to provide teams and individuals the opportunity to enjoy Mt. Hood Meadows in a family friendly and recreational racing environment. Participants may race as an individual or as a team. A team consists of 4 – 6 skiers or snowboarders ages 8 and older. Hit Let’s Go for the Snow at Mt. Hood Meadows
In celebration of winter sports, Toyota presents learn to ride nights! This special two-hour beginner ski lesson will be from 5p.m. to 7p.m. on the selected date. We recommend checking in by 4 p.m. at the latest, and check in closes at 4:30 p.m. even for those who have purchased online in advance. For ages 6 and older. Attend the 42nd Annual Peter Rabbit Pancake Breakfast
West Linn Community Preschool is hosting their 42nd annual Peter Rabbit Pancake Breakfast and Carnival to be held on Saturday, March 17th from 8A a.m.-12 p.m. at West Linn High School. The proceeds from this event will help us meet our budgetary needs for the school year, fund our scholarship program and allow us to make plans for outdoor play area improvements.
The Peter Rabbit Breakfast has been a well-loved tradition in our community since 1977 and this year we plan to make it our biggest yet! Attend the 20th annual Sellwood-Moreland St. Patrick’s Day Festival
Join the fun at the Sellwood-Moreland’s 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade. Bring the whole family for an afternoon of family-friendly all ages St. Patrick’s Day fun!
At noon the Sellwood Middle School Marching Band will lead hundreds of people and parade through the main streets of the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood beginning and ending at St. Agatha School. The parade features bagpipes, Portland Fire & Rescue’s big fire truck, members of the Gaelic Football Portland Police Traffic Division’s motorcycle officers, children with decorated bikes and wagons and many people proudly wearing Irish green.
Children of all ages will enjoy an old-fashioned carnival with cakewalk. Under the heated tent festival attendees will hear live music from the Clackamas Fire Fighters Pipes & Drum, Shadows of the Revolution and more. Other entertainment includes Irish dancers.
Enjoy food from beloved local food carts PDX Sliders, Pips Donuts and more. Ireland’s famous Guinness beer will be flowing along with Hopworks favorites. Sat. Event Details.
Attend the Murphy’s Furniture St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Murphy’s Furniture has been hosting this old-time parade annually for more that 40 years. Come early to Hare Field to watch the staging for local school bands, floats, the Washington County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse, neighboring county Rodeo Courts, and even a motorcycle drill team. Sat.
