Trillium flowers—and the Tryon Creek Trillium Festival—are a colorful sign that spring is here. And that isn’t the only floral family fun blooming this weekend: The Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival has over 40 acres of flowers to explore and a revolving calendar of kids games and family activities. Other springtime adventures: early Easter activities and a backyard chicken-keeping workshop for families.
