Spring will be upon us soon, so here’s to newness and the exploration of new things. A new hobby perhaps? Whether your kids are into LEGOs, night creatures, birds, or fire trucks, there is something that will tickle their fancy this weekend. A LEGO convention that is the perfect activity for families with kids who love LEGO and want to see what amazing creations people have done with simple plastic bricks. The Historic Belmont Firehouse is open to explorers, as is Sauvie Island’s Wapato Walkway (home to many feathered friends). The whole family can learn Indian Dance moves in Hillsboro and older kids can listen to the sounds of the night in Beaverton.
