Smith and Bybee Wetlands Natural Area is home to one of the largest populations of Western painted turtles in the Northwest. This weekend your kids can see these beautiful reptiles with the help of Metro naturalist James Davis, who will have small telescopes for a close look. Richard Scarry celebration events are popping up all over town in anticipation of NW Childrens Theater’s Busytown, opening March 17.
