Pirates! Breakdancers! Planets! You have so many chances this weekend to be the coolest parent EVER. The Time-Based-Art Festival (TBA) is in town with lots of family-friendly art and fun. Take your kids on a pirate-themed groundwater adventure. Head to the Gorge to celebrate autumn at an OMSI star party and you can look through awesomely powerful telescopes at the night sky. Or get in the Oktoberfest spirit—here in town or in Mt. Angel. Just don’t blame us when your kids want to be artists, rock stars, pirates, beer brewers, or astronauts.
