Lucky for you, Portland is beautiful through the fall season offering local families some great ways to play together. We’ve put together a list of some of the best activities and events for your crew on your upcoming home-play days.

Sunflower Festival

Wander the paths through the two acres of sunflowers, take photos of 15+ varieties of flowers, marvel at the giant sunflowers, visit the animals and take home one sunflower of your choosing. All paths through the Sunflowers will be 6 feed wide, and we will follow national, state, and local guidance on best practices. Fri., Sat., & Sun. Event Details.

Swan Island Dahlias

This farm is open for visitors 6 days a week in August and September (Closed Wednesday). Stroll through the fields, display garden, fresh-cut flower stand, gift shop, and office during your visit. Please remember to social distance and bring your mask as it is required indoors at all times. They have increased our cleaning procedures throughout the farm to help keep everyone safe, including many hand sanitizer stations. Fair Food Week in Downtown Camas

Head to Camas Friday, September 4 –  11th and get your favorite fair food at participating restaurants. You’ll enjoy funnel cakes, mini corn dogs, ice cream, caramel apples, cannolis just to name a few and many more! Liberty Theatre of Camas-Washougal will be serving their amazing popcorn on Friday and Saturday evenings and Caps N’ Taps will be offering fun fair games out front on First Friday! Fri., Sat., & Sun. Brad Creel & the Reel Deel Concert

Live show by americana band, Brad Creel & the Reel Deel, and folk artist, Josh Pinkston. Bring your family and a picnic and enjoy this free outdoor concert behind the church. Lots of room for social distancing. Masks are required. Sat. Event Details.

Heartbeat Silent Disco

Join Heartbeat Silent Disco at Laurelhurst park. We will not be set up in our usual space but we will be close. Find the party just south of the Northside bathrooms in the big open field across from the duck pond (on the side with the metal statue).
