Location: W Burnside and NW 10th Ave.

If you've visited Powell's Books through the Burnside entrance, it's likely that your children have already spotted this interactive sculpture by Pete Beeman. Its nameplate encourages passers-by to go ahead and push the pendulum to make it swing. Help them to make it move, snap their picture under it, and head across the street to shop at Powell's (and then Kenny & Zuke's for lunch).
