There’s plenty to feast on in Portland proper, but the west side offers some serious gems, too. From juicy burgers to handmade Korean noodles, the following are some of our favorite places west of the Willamette, when you’re out and about with hungry kids in tow. Flip through our album to see them all.

Caffe Mingo

Sometimes your family is looking for an experience that’s a little more upscale than your usual counter-service take-a-number fare, but still welcomes your little wigglers. Caffe Mingo at The Round in Beaverton strikes a nice balance. If you're not familiar with The Round, it's a happening spot surrounded by condos and restaurants on a cute, little park near the Trimet Max line. You can go there for date night, a business lunch, or take the family out for a birthday. When the weather’s nice, you can let the kids loose at the park while you finish dishing with other parents.
