There’s plenty to feast on in Portland proper, but the west side offers some serious gems, too. From juicy burgers to handmade Korean noodles, the following are some of our favorite places west of the Willamette, when you’re out and about with hungry kids in tow. Joe’s Burgers

Joe’s Burgers is a small local chain with 100% Oregon beef hamburgers on the cheap, at just $4.75. Not only that, but they offer gluten-free buns, so everyone can chow down together. Mom or Dad can opt for a wedge salad, or go all out with one of their delicious milkshakes. A Joe’s Burgers truck in Hillsdale is now open, with a limited menu of burgers and sandwiches.
