Hanna Lim, Founder of Lollaland Baby Bottles

Like many momprenuers, Hanna Lim started Lollaland because of a simple observation she had as a mom. When her daughter was 9-months-old, she was ecstatic to see her drinking effortlessly from a straw. Yet when she purchased several toddler straw sippy cups, her daughter couldn’t get a sip out of the cups. Hanna realized she needed a spill-proof cup that would allow babies to use the straw. So she created the Lollacup, an American made, straw sippy cup that would make transitioning to a sippy cup effortless. Three-months after Hanna and her husband, Mark, shipped the first cup, she appeared on “Shark Tank” and got an investment from Mark Cuban and Robert Herjavec. This Altadena, CA mother of three daughters is now celebrating five years in business and admits to trying to “do it all” every day, which includes taking care of the kiddos, answering pressing emails, new product development, tradeshow-planning, marketing, social media, establishing partnerships, and cleaning the office and helping in the warehouse.

Proudest Accomplishments: “I was recently honored as the 2016 Inspiration of the Year at the National Association of Women Business Owners’ Leadership and Legacy Luncheon. As a small business owner and mom, everyday is a grind, and it's virtually impossible to pause and reflect on accomplishments. It wasn't until I was standing on stage, speaking in front of 700+ attendees that I had a ‘proud of myself’ moment.”
