Renee Macalino Rutledge writes and parents in Alameda, where you’ll find her walking the island with her husband, daughters, and miniature Australian shepherd, Skye. Renee has a B.A. in English from U.C. Berkeley and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Mills College. A French native, Laure Latham is the author of the family travel blog Frog Mom and of the book Best Hikes with Kids: San Francisco Bay Area. She writes about the outdoors, creativity and fun adventures with curious kids in tow – and she never leaves her house without the ultimate fuel, a steady supply of dark chocolate.

 

Nicki Richesin
Nicki Richesin is the editor of four literary anthologies Because I Love Her: 34 Women Writers Reflect on the Mother-Daughter Bond; Crush: 26 Real-life Tales of First Love; The May Queen: Women on Life, Work, and Pulling it all Together in your Thirties and What I Would Tell Her: 28 Devoted Dads on Bringing Up, Holding On To, and Letting Go of Their Daughters. Her books have been excerpted and praised in The New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, The Boston Globe, Redbook, Good Housekeeping, Parenting, Bust, 7X7, Salon, Daily Candy and Babble. Timothy P. Wang
Tim is a stay-at-home dad who is eagerly awaiting the first snowfall so he can teach his three year old daughter to ski. You can find his blog here.

 

Gabrielle Cullen
Gabrielle grew up in a small ranching community in rural California. After completing her B.A. at the University of California, Davis she moved to Marin County and has been enjoying the beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area for over 10 years. After having her daughter in the fall of 2009, Gabrielle decided to forgo a full-time career and instead works from home as a part time publicist for a Marin microbrewery owner, writes a mother’s column for the San Rafael Patch, an online community platform, and is Communications Co-Director of her mother’s club.

Amy is a freelance writer and mom to two sweet (but sometimes crazy) boys and one smiley (but sometimes smelly) baby girl. She blogs about her adventures in parenting at Using Our Words.

 

Julie Feinstein Adams
I am: Wife, mother, writer and editor, photographer, blogger, improvisational theater artist, backyard-chicken keeper, foodie, avid cook, amateur canner, and occasional knitter. My husband, preschool-age son, and I currently enjoy: Sharks, space, dinosaurs, bugs, and trains.

Tricia Kerr grew up in a Northern California beach town and managed to escape to the big city. A graduate of Mills College, Tricia has been a freelance writer for many years. She began her career penning press materials for authors and special events and now crafts technology case studies and market research reports. The Berkeley mom of two enjoys contributing to Red Tricycle because it fits into her grand scheme to have more fun while writing.

Rachel is the San Francisco Event Calendar Editor, and she also blogs at Tots and Plans. She has managed a shopping website for the Austin American-Statesman, and done publicity for mom-owned businesses, including her own. She loves finding fun things for kids to do, including her two little ones!
