Spring is in full bloom, and our local museums are bursting with new life. Almost all of our favorite institutions have just debuted incredible, family-friendly exhibitions, from a playdate with Pinocchio to a dizzying display of dresses. Click though to see them all.

Architecture of Life at the Berkeley Museum of Art

Architecture of Life, the inaugural exhibition in BAMPFA's landmark new building, explores the ways that architecture illuminates various aspects of life. Occupying every gallery in the new building, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, the exhibition comprises over two hundred works of art in a wide range of media, as well as scientific illustrations and architectural drawings and models, made over the past two thousand years. Boundary-breaking, innovative, and radically interdisciplinary, the exhibition presents visually exquisite, rarely seen works in ways that suggest new connections and meanings. It’s on until May 29th so hurry up and take the designers, architects and construction fanatics of the house soon!
