But while these local food bloggers are blessed with some extra know-how in the kitchen, they are also real-life parents, scrambling to stir the soup while checking math homework and assisting with potty breaks. Prepare to find not just inspiration, but incredibly helpful tips and tricks for busy parents and wanna-be cooks, no knife-skills necessary. Click through for a taste of them all!

Nik from A Brown Table

Nik is a pastry chef at a local bakery in the San Francisco Bay Area. He recently quit his pharmaceutical industry job to follow his passion: blogging and food. His blog is all about healthy and multicultural dishes that bring back memories from his Indian roots. He vividly remembers watching both of his parents and grandmother preparing dishes that they would make with great enthusiasm and love. He wants to do the same through his blog, and we are feeling the love.
