Fifth Crow Farm

This organic Pescadero farm grows 100% of the produce CSA members receive right on the spot, including produce such as heirloom dry beans, specialty salad greens, root crops, berries, herbs and sometimes delightful home-canned goods. They also have the disctonction of being "Bee Friendly Farm Certified" for an extra touch of good karma. Members can opt to add pasture-raised eggs and cut flowers as they wish. Neighboring farm partners offer their own shares of honey, chicken and meat that you can conveniently pick up with your weekly box, and best of all weekly blog posts connect Fifth Crow CSA members to the rhythms of the farm and to a wide range of sustainable food topics.

Cost: One regular-season produce share is $702 for 27 weeks and a 14-week winter share is $252. (Plentiful pickup locations range from San Francisco to Santa Cruz.)
