It’s festival season and the events are piling up. And you thought summer would be a chance to relax and cool your heels.
Come out for the new and improved, eco-licious Union Street Festival and vendor-shop for arts and crafts. Look out for kids activities and rides. If the kids won’t stop banging on everything in the house, bring them ‘round for Mini Non-stop Bhangra, the bestest place to practice your favorite Bollywood moves.
Take in SF’s Birth and Baby Fair . It’s their largest event to date and you can learn about your local prenatal, midnatal, and postnatal resources. Shop for maternity and baby gear, and talk to one of the night doulas (if only to dream… mm, sleep…). Enter the code “redtri” at ticket checkout and get 50% off. Habitot celebrates bath time with rubber duckie day! Expect rubber duckie races and arts and crafts. Finally, take a breath at Music in the Gardens at Lake Merritt. This weekend starts a summer-long series of kids’ performers at Yerba Buena Gardens. Check the schedule to find out who’s going to be entertaining in the park. Bring the littles by for the Chocolate and Chalk Art Festival—two great tastes that taste great together.
