Yoga Festival at the Asian Art Museum
Head to the Asian Art Museum for a family friendly yoga festival. Practice yoga in the museum’s beautiful Samsung Hall with your choice of one of three 90-minute classes taught by top-notch teachers. Kids will love the classes just for them, including art, storytelling, Laughter Yoga, and more. Enjoy gallery talks, and the Yogi Tea Lounge. Bring a yoga mat for classes. Family Tours and Crafts at the de Young
Go on a family-centric tour of the museum and then get handsy with some art. Arts and crafts projects that correspond with current exhibits give kids a new appreciation for the museum’s collection. Silhouette Artist Karl Johnson
Bring your kids to Small Frys for a session with world-renowned silhouette artist Karl Johnson of Cut Arts. Each session takes just 5 minutes, so even your wiggle-worms can become subjects. Plus it’s held in a kids store so there’s plenty to keep them occupied while they wait. Call the store to make an appointment, and do it soon ’cause this fills up fast: 415-648-3954. Mortimus Greely’s Haunting School

Disney on Ice: Rockin’ Ever After
