Disney & Pixar’s Up: Live to Film
The unlikely duo of a 78-year-old curmudgeonly balloon salesman and an eight-year-old stowaway soon find themselves on a hilarious and heartwarming journey to a lost world filled with danger and surprises. Berkeley Kite Festival
Come fly a kite at the Berkeley Kite Festival. There are kite competitions by the Bay Area Sport Kite League choreographed to music; candy drops for the kids; rokkaku battles for everyone else; and traditional kite making from the Sode-cho Kite-Flying Society of Hamamatsu, Japan. At the center of everything is the Berkeley Kite Wranglers’ trademark “Octopile.” With nearly 35,000-square feet of giant show kites in their collection, the Wranglers are the premier giant creature kite team on the planet. In the Kids’ Zone are pony rides, a petting zoo, a bungee jump, water balls and bounce houses galore! Sat.-Sun. Event details.

Feast for the Beasts
Ever wanted to be a zookeeper? Curious about what elephants eat? Do you want to go inside a zoo exhibit?! The zoo opens early giving guests the opportunity to spread food for select zoo animals. Visitors are encouraged to donate fresh produce including apples, watermelon, grapes, carrots, lettuce or other delicious fruits and vegetables to help feed the animals and will be thanked for their donation with a free kid’s ride ticket. Beatles in the Park
