Remember when juices contained just one type of fruit? Grape juice, apple juice—pineapple juice if you really wanted to get wild. Flash forward to today, when our juices boast more ingredients than most dinner plates. And we aren’t complaining, since it seems most kiddies prefer to sip, suck and slurp their fruits and veggies than simply munch on them. So we’ve rounded up the best places for the whole family to get their juice on.

Happy Moose Juice, San Francisco

Passing out their pretty glass bottles from a stand out front of Range restaurant in the Mission, this boutique juicery serves up cold pressed juices with quirky names. Strawberry Fields gets high marks from the kiddos (Carrot, Orange, Strawberry, Beet, Ginger), just don’t spill any one that new sweater! The Vanilla and Chocolate Moose are definite crowd pleasers, but lack, well, fruits and veggies (mostly almond, dates and water). Beware of sticker shock—these juices don’t run cheap and include a $2 bottle deposit.
