Bring those mini-city-slickers up to Marin this weekend to get in on summer’s “U-Pick” bounty. Marin Organic, an association of the county’s organic farmers, organizes farm tours nearly every weekend, and this time of year there’s always something to see, taste, or pick. Recent visits have included Draper Farms (home to some amazing honeybees) and Wild Blue Farm. This weekend, families can trip to Tuscany by way of McEvoy Ranch where the olive orchards produce some of the tastiest oils we’ve ever tried. Check out their website to see which farms have tours open for the weekend you’d like to attend.
When: Saturday, August 8, 2:00 4:00 p.m.
Where: McEvoy Ranch, 5935 Red Hill Rd., Petaluma
