8. Go Down on the Farm at Ardenwood Historic Farm

Journey back to the 1850s at Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont. This farm teaches visitors about farm life with restored buildings and farm equipment that lets you really feel what life was like back then. The many animals (pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits and more) will definitely delight little visitors. Stop by the farm stand on your way out to grab some fruits and veggies grown right on the farm.

Cost: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays - $3 for adults and seniors, $2 for kids 4-17 and kids under 4 are free; Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays - $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $4 for kids 4-17 and kids under 4 are free. Closed on Mondays.
