Did you survive Halloween? Did the kids? Are they still bartering around their candies? Here are some events to get you out of the house (and sugar comas!). Having nightmares about sending your kids to public school? Questions about the new placement system? Get thee to the public school enrollment fair and get some answers post haste. The Banana Slug String Band brings its friendly, eco-conscious stylings to the BADM stage; bring the kids for a listen and a lesson. The East Bay Baby and Kids Fair has a lineup of vendors that will have your tots geared and fitted for anything. Get the kids eating something other than snack-size Snickers with an ITK Culinary class on seasonal foods: beet soup, baked artichoke, and mushroom walnut paté. Maybe you can get them to cater Thanksgiving…unless they’re already booked!
