Mitchell’s is a classic San Francisco Ice Cream parlor that has been run by the same family (who got their start on a Bay Area dairy farm in the 1890’s) for over fifty years. Take our word for it that this is one area where tradition should be embraced! Their menu features dozens of classic ice creams and sorbets, as well as some exotic and innovative flavors that have been added over the years, like the crowd-pleasers Ube (purple yam) and Grasshopper Pie. Many of their tropical flavors are made from fruit they import from the Philippines, like guava, langka, mango and lucuma. Yum!
