You may know ModCloth’s online shop for their colorful and whimsical styles. And now for Bay Area residents, the brand is branching out into real-life art, taking inspiration from the women of San Francisco (you!). Read on to find out how you can participate in this installation only at their Fillmore Street location through Nov. 4!
The Pac Heights ModCloth store has transformed into an interactive gallery space inspired by the women of SF. There are two full walls of digital screens showcasing women—in all shapes, colors, sizes and ages—in ModCloth’s latest styles. We love the celebration of women and diversity, and the fact that you—anyone who walks off the street—can participate.
Interested? Head to the ModCloth store and pick out your favorite styles. Unlike a typical retailer, the floor features limited quantities of styles. As you peruse the clothes, jot down the item’s number and once you’ve compiled your list, a sales associate will pull the right style in your size from the back room for you to try on.
Once you pick out your outfit, get your photo taken by the professional photographer who will be on hand noon- 4 p.m. on the weekends and 5-7 p.m. on the weekdays. All purchases are shipped directly to you so you don’t have to worry about lugging bags around.
The interactive art exhibit is now on display through Nov. 4, 2018 at 2033 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA. Online: modcloth.com
