Now that spring has sprung and we have more daylight to play, here are some of our favorite San Francisco streets for a leisurely stroll. These San Francisco spots are the prettiest around to take in the sights and sounds of the city and enjoy with your family. So slow down, smell the roses, and just go for a walk. Once you’re there, these everyday San Francisco moments will be that much more enjoyable that you’ll be humming to yourself, “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day in the neighborhood.”

Mr. Rogers couldn’t have been any more right. Indeed it is.

Pacific Heights

For a truly indulgent San Francisco stroll, visit Pacific Heights, and specifically the area along Broadway, at the top of the Lyon Street Steps. This block, with its sprawling mansions, lush greenery, and not to mention million-dollar views of the Bay, Palace of Fine Arts, and The Golden Gate Bridge, make for an awe-inspiring afternoon.

Good to Know: This quiet neighborhood has ample street parking.
