Now that spring has sprung and we have more daylight to play, here are some of our favorite San Francisco streets for a leisurely stroll. These San Francisco spots are the prettiest around to take in the sights and sounds of the city and enjoy with your family. So slow down, smell the roses, and just go for a walk. Once you’re there, these everyday San Francisco moments will be that much more enjoyable that you’ll be humming to yourself, “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day in the neighborhood.”

Mr. Rogers couldn’t have been any more right. Indeed it is.

Fillmore

For a nice long stroll along tree-lined streets, upscale boutiques, and restaurants, San Francisco’s Fillmore District (or The Fillmore) is not to be missed. Just north of Geary Boulevard, head ten blocks for a leisurely San Francisco stroll. And if it’s a nice sunny day out, park the kid’s stroller and choose from the countless outdoor seating at the cafes and eateries that line Fillmore.

Good to Know: As you approach the latter part of The Fillmore, also known as Lower Pacific Heights, there’s a bit of an incline, but rest assured you and your little one can duck into one of the neighboring stores or cafes for a little break.
