This festival, dating back to when strawberry farming was one of our region's most famous activities, takes place on the fourth weekend of every June. Families can expect to find tons of fun at this two-day festival including live entertainment, hands-on history exhibits, a classic car show and loads of strawberry goodness (think strawberry shortcake, strawberry pie and chocolate dipped strawberries!). Plus, there will be strawberry shortcake eating contests, vendor booths, bouncy houses, pony rides, games, face painting and a classic car show.
Dates: June 24-26, 2017
Times: Sat., 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sun., 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Don't Miss: Sweet summer strawberries may be the focus of this fest, but the Republic Services Family Fun Area, where half-pints an get their faces painted, touch some trucks and even ride a pony, is where they’ll burn off the sugar rush from mounds of luscious strawberry treats.
