If a festival that lasts all weekend long and has its sights set on reconnecting families to the forest sounds like time well spent, then you and your happy campers need to check out the Family Forest Fest on Whidbey Island. Now in its second year, this brainchild of Hike it, Baby! founder, Shanti Hodges, is held on a 20-acre privately owned field, so there’s plenty of place to pitch your tent and explore the “fest”ivities they’ve got planned for you. A full schedule is available online, but we’re crushing on family yoga, the costume parade and the teddy bear hunt. Add in some cool tunes and it sounds like you’ve got the perfect weekend planned!
Dates: Aug. 18-20, 2017
Don’t Miss: All the amazing activities! This festive forest romp is all planned out so the only thing you need to worry about is packing up your gear, food and kids before ferrying over. It couldn’t get any easier than that for a festival weekend!
