When it comes to summer (or really any time of the year), families can’t seem to get enough burgers. Which is why we are super stoked to announce there’s a hip, new burger joint that just opened in West Seattle. If you and your little ones love burgers and the traditional fare that goes with them, you’ve gotta check this place out. Stat!

The Inside Story
The Burger Boss idea was born in 2012 by Brian Azzano and Ryan Hopkins. They both graduated from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and with over 30 years of restaurant experience between them, they know a thing or two about serving up delicious food. Knowing they wanted to create the perfect burger, they spent countless hours in their own kitchens developing, tasting, and concocting until they came up with a specialty line of burgers, perfectly crisp crinkle-cut fries, and Boss Sauce (think fry sauce with a twist).

The Atmosphere
This is not your run-of-the-mill burger establishment with tables and inside seating. Burger Boss is a walk-up style fast food joint where you simply order from one of the three windows and take your food away. This place certainly has that cool, old school drive-in feel, perfect for hanging out with family and friends and munching on tasty treats.

The Menu
When it comes to the menu, think American classics like burgers, chicken fingers, french fries, onion rings, corn dogs, soft-serve ice cream cones, and milkshakes just to name a few. If you are a meat lover through and through, you must try The Boss Hog featuring two patties, cheese, ham, and smoked bacon. If burgers aren’t your cup of tea, don’t worry, they offer a variety of chicken options. Or forego meat altogether and indulge in a sundae or Blurry. No matter what you’re craving, you can’t go wrong!

Why We Love Them
Azzano and Hopkins are both 10 year residents of West Seattle and love the community. They wanted to revitalize the neighborhood by opening a family-friendly place that encourages people to get out and enjoy where they live. If that isn’t enough, the food is fresh and locally made; and the patties are fresh, never frozen, and delivered daily from Eastern Washington.

The Important Details
Burger Boss is open and ready for business. Mark your calendars for a block party-style grand opening just after the 4th of July. Grab your kiddos and indulge in some classic American comfort food. Just get ready for the question we all the know the answer to, do you want fries with that?
