If you’ve never been to Day Out With Thomas, you’re in for a real treat. The Celebration Tour 2015 will offer aspiring engineers and their families the unique opportunity to take a 25-minute ride with the classic storybook engine, Thomas the Tank Engine, and participate in fun Thomas-themed activities.
Meet Sir Topham Hatt, the Controller of the Railway, enjoy arts and crafts, storytelling and more. The Northwest Railway Museum will also offer motor car rides and the chance to view live steam models and model trains.
Note: Regular excursions will be suspended to allow for this special children’s event featuring the well-known locomotive. Sorry, the Snoqualmie Depot and grounds will not be accessible to visitors without tickets.
Good to Know: The approximately 25-minute train ride with Thomas the Tank Engine will depart every 45 minutes, rain or shine, with departure times running from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. each day of the event.
