With Thanksgiving coming up, closely followed by even more holiday eating, it’s the perfect time to get some preventative exercise in and support several local charities at the same time. If your fam is ready for some turkey trottin’ and reindeer runnin’ this holiday season, read on and get ready to lace up your tennies and participate in these local fun runs.

Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis

Kick off your holiday season with one of the most fun and memorable themed races: the Jingle Bell Walk/Run for Arthritis on December 13, 2015 at Westlake Center in downtown Seattle. Wear your holiday best and have fun while helping to raise funds to find a cure for arthritis. Psst... event festivities begin with the arrival of Santa to welcome all participants.

Good to Know: Race options include competitive and non-competitive waves as well as the Seattle Children’s Hospital Run with the Elves - a 1k fun run for the kiddies starting at 8 a.m. Take in all the fun including the elf village and the costume contest.

Registration Costs: Varies. Visit their event page for costs.
